Rumor Control for August 28, 2009

IYFW is geared up for it’s 2nd anniversary show "Season 3: Rising Spirits of Madness" on Saturday, October 10th at the Ballston Area Community Center just in Ballston Spa, NY. The New Wave of Pro Wrestling is spreading across the Capital Region with another great night of action.

"The Mighty" Fronz Roddy has held the IYFW Championship for over a year and has faced all comers. But perhaps his toughest test has been Drake Evans, who made Fronz tap out in the main event at "Coronation Cup ’09." (Fronz was later disqualified for assaulting the referee earlier in the match.) IYFW Management has been in constant deliberation over whether Drake should get another shot and as of noon today they have announced....

In Your Face Wrestling Championship:
"The Dead End" Drake Evans (Challenger) vs. "The Mighty" Fronz Roddy (Champion)

But being that this is the 2nd Anniversary show, IYFW officials have come up with something special. What is that something special? It is a "Lieutenants' Match." In the interest of fairness IYFW officials have decided that at Season 3, Evans and Roddy will each choose a wrestler to fight on their behalf in this "Lieutenants Match." Which ever representative wins will give his Evans or Roddy the right to name the stipulation to the main event. So now the question will be who will Roddy & Evans choose as their respective representatives, and what stipulations will they want? We are also getting word that IYFW is encouraging fans to come to the event in costume to celebrate Halloween a bit early. We are wondering if they will be encouraging the IYFW roster to do the same.
