Rumor Control for January 14, 2009

The Dark Pony's Decision!
J.P. Black has made the choice of his opponent for the main event at "Last Ride of the Dark Pony." He has picked a man who is not a bitter enemy, but a close friend, in the form of Maxx "The Ax" Burton. J.P. Black told IYFW that he wanted to be in the ring with someone he could trust and knew would not take any cheap shots or try to make a name on his last match.

Even though J.P. did choose Maxx, Burton has not signed the contract yet because he is waiting to hear from H.C. Loc on whether he will accept the rematch challenge Burton laid down in November. IYFW is not giving Burton much time and wil have to sign in the next week or lose the opportunity and J.P. will have to pick another opponent. There is still no confirmation that H.C. Loc will be in attendance on 2/21.

Superbeast Injured!
We have gotten word that "The Inhuman Monstrosity" has suffered an injury while wrestling in Western New York and will not have medical clearance to wrestle on February 21st. This news comes as a major disappointment to Vigo, who begged the IYFW fans for their help in getting this match signed. Over the last few days, the outpouring of fan support was starting to convince IYFW Management to sign the match. However this turn of events has, of course, halted those actions. Vigo will be in action on 2/21 and will voice his opinion on this situation as well.
