The Slam All-Star Wrestling Vermont Women's Title has been purchased by an independent entity. Once the deal was finalized on February 1st, a meeting was arranged by the title owner with the committees from three different Vermont based Wrestling Federations: Slam All-Star Wrestling of Highgate, Vermont; In Your Face Wrestling of Rutland, Vermont; and Conquest Pro Wrestling of Bennington, Vermont. The three federations and the owner of the title came to an agreement. The title will now be known as the Vermont Women's Championship. All three promotions will recognize the championship. A new women's champion will be crowned in the coming months and the champion will defend the title in all three federations.
