Rumor Control for December 12, 2007
From The Office.....
In Your Face Wrestling RETURNS! Saturday, January 12th at the Holiday Inn of Rutland, VT.
Many of the stars that came to Rutland on November 24th will be making a return. The IYFW Office has released the names of some new faces that will be in action on January 12th:
The tag team of The Killer Steves, Steve Kruz and Steve McKenzie, will be coming.
Veteran of NY wrestling, Troy Buchanan will be in action.
And.....IYFW has shown it's strong ties to other local promotions like Slam All-Star Wrestling and keeping it's international ties strong, like with One Pro Wrestling in the United Kingdom. Well, a special guest who has returned from a tour of Pro Wrestling Zero-One in Japan will be coming as well. Check out below to see who this guest is..
He will be in action and there will be a special autograph session with him during intermission.
Special Report: "Bad Religion" Maxx Burton was scheduled to take on "The Modern Day Marquis" Guillaume DeSade at the January 12th show, however Maxx, who has had a longtime problem with his knees, will not be allowed to compete due to his doctor not giving clearance. Maxx was given the option to find a replacement. Word is that Maxx has been in contact with a popular young athlete who has made a name for himself on the independent circuit in New England and will reveal his name next week. All Maxx said is "My replacement will be a fellow 'Misfit' like me."
Vigo has said he will have some comments for Superbeast that will be available on this website soon, concerning The Inhuman Monstrosity's comments about him on the IYFW "Let the Madness Begin" DVD.
Speaking of Vigo and Superbeast, the office has been flooded with emails from fans who want to see the two go at it. Even the wrestlers, themselves, have been begging for a match up.
Also, Drake Evans has continued to lobby for a match with Fronz Roddy on January 12th. Fronz has had no comment other than "I want to face another athlete like me and not someone like Evans!"
All announcements for upcoming events are subject to change without notice.
Videocameras are not allowed at IYFW events.
