Results for Coronation Cup 2012 - August 18, 2012
- IYFW presented a tribute to Lee Estabrook (a.k.a. Core) at the beginning with a 10 bell salute.
- Team RPG: Ian Daniels and The Rickety Rocket w/ Babs Booster defeated Good Lord Willing and Etanna
- "Megastar" Michael Monroe won the Block A 4-Way Free-For-All to advance in the Coronation Cup Tournament. This 4-way also included "The Mighty" Fronz Roddy, Viper and "Loverboy" Ricky Williams
- Liam McFerran retained the IYFW New Breed title over Shiloh Robinson.
- Drake Evans won the Block B 4-Way Free-For-All in the Coronation Cup Tournament. This match included Jamar "Magic" Justice, Vince Beach and "The Real" Robert L. Coleman. After the match, Michael Monroe attacked the knee of Drake Evans giving Drake a handicap going into the finals.
- El Loco Coolo beat "The Wolf" C.J. Scott. This match had "The Savage" Damon Ravage as the special referee assigned by the Board of Directors.
- Pure Dynamite: Chuck Deep & Bad Brad Wesley w/ Michael Anthony won the IYFW Tag Team Championships in a No DQ match against Blood Money: Scott Scarsdale & Guillaume deSade, when Anthony hit Scarsdale with the shakeweight. Anthony claimed back the shakeweight when it was over.
- Drake Evans won the 2012 Coronation Cup tournament by beating "Megastar" Michael Monroe with "The Coronation."
- Pierre "The Beast" Vachon pinned "The Pillar" Roman Dominguez after knocking him out with brass knuckles. After the match, Referee Dan Roberts discovered the object and reversed the decision giving the win by DQ to Dominguez. However, Vachon retains the title on a DQ.
This was a wild and crazy summer of action for IYFW in Whitehall, NY. Thanks for all the great fans we've made in that area. IYFW is looking forward to seeing it's fans in Ballston Spa on September 8th for "Vengeful to the Core" when Pierre Vachon defends the IYFW Championship against Drake Evans.
